Our project with Appstronauts was to design and develop an innovative app: a freight
marketplace to match carriers with shippers. The goal of the ASAP app was to supplement
empty carrier loads and offer competitive prices to business and private clients. The project
was quite complex as it involved creating an app for carriers and another app for shippers,
both for iOS and Android, and also a web app. Appstronauts advised me to develop
cross-platform apps and a Progressive Web App which speeded up the development. They
took care of design and development. Within four months, MVPs of five ASAP applications
were ready.

SockAway

The project was to design and develop a mobile app to make our idea come true. We had a vision for an app, SockAway, to manage everyday saving and make it fun, easy and effective. Appstronauts designed the SockAway app and chose the best solutions for the project. They advised us to develop a cross-platform app, and it was a great idea. The whole development process lasted two weeks, and the final effect was just like we imagined.

At the beginning, Appstronauts provided us with UX and UI design. Together we performed design thinking sessions and brainstorming. Then the app was built in quite a modern way, using Atomic Design approach. Every solution was tested in a group of future users. Appstronauts chose to build the app with the Ionic Framework to get access to native device’s features, take good care of the frontend, and provide polished UX. The company added a few useful features to the app, like geolocation, so that navigation can guide users to chosen pubs. The MVP was developed in only four weeks. With Appstronauts help we were able to focus on business goals, promoting and improving our app, having in mind our real users opinions.
